The Army Chief of Staff readily admits that the Guard and Reserve of today serves a much different role than in years past. With that changing role, though, comes the realization that the increased sacrifices on home and civilian employment are taking their toll. That in mind, the Army is looking to extend home time between mobilizations...very welcome news to the hundreds of thousands of service members and their families.
